I am on a constant search for awesome conversation-starting coffee table books. One that reflects my character and interests, is the amazing 'VINTAGE T-SHIRTS' by Marc & Patrick Guetta. "Selected from the collection of Patrick and Marc Guetta, owners of World of Vintage T-Shirts on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, this book assembles over 650 stone-cold classics of the genre." Some may prefer to wear a t-shirt, rather than reading about one, but I assure you that this book is filled with admirable classics. 'Vintage T-shirts' displays the most distinctive and memorable prints, ranging a various amount of genres; anywhere from Mickey Mouse to Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, to ACDC! TEN REASONS WHY I LOVE THIS BOOK... No. 1 - I love screen printed t-shirts. No. 2 - I like books on my coffee table. No. 3 - I love merchandise and memorabilia for things that are dear to me. No. 4 - There is minimal reading involved, great for visual people like myself! No. 5 - I like colour. There are 390 pages of vibrant, unique t-shirt designs. No. 6 - I heart '90210' the original TV series. Yes, there is a t-shirt dedicated to this series. No. 7 - The book explains how "the T-shirt has been defined as underwear, sportswear, workwear, and fashion", alongside an interesting history of the past 100 years. No. 8 - There is a screen "Moustache Rides 25c" (as in twenty-five cents!) - "Moustache Rides" ca. 1979. No. 9 - I'm a sucker for the American State T-shirts, they are freaking awesome. No. 10 - This book kept me entertained for a decent amount of time, seriously!
