JASON JOHN WHITEHEAD

Canadian. That’s a good start eh.
Suitably hilarious surname. Check.
Whitehead’s well-known for spinning a great yarn. Whether it’s the time he got frisked by overzealous airport security, or the time he discovered his flatmate’s sex toys, his hilarious real-life tales will leave you in stitches.

heidi o'loughlin and rose matafeo

HEIDI O’LOUGHLIN and ROSE MATAFEO
Self-announced queens of the Takapuna Amateur Chess Club circuit, O’Loughlin and Matafeo are waging a war against the Uncool. Matafeo and O’Loughlin are being called the wunderkinds of NZ comedy. By me.

Matafeo is of National Radio and TV1’s Close Up Fame, while O’Loughlin won the 2008 NZ Comedy Guild Award. With their forces combined, everything kitsch, old-hat and boy-racey take a steady beating in their suitably titled lecture “UNCOOL”.

ben kettell

BEN KETTELL and CALUM BECK
Ever wondered what would happen if you mixed the world of professional boxing and audience interaction? Award-winning Kettell and Beck did. Then they made a show about it.

Covering all the necessary keys to becoming a top boxer, including “Steroids”, “The biggest fight of your life” and “Going to prison for a crime you didn’t commit”, the boys box lyrical, taking their gloves off, putting them back on, and dragging the crowd into the ring with them.

B.Y.O. mouth guard.
