We came. We saw. We conquered. Armageddon. 2010. After last years attendance, I was delighted to be attending Armageddon again this year. This time around, I knew what to expect - in terms of lines-for-Africa, over-priced children rides and most importantly: the favoured costumes. For one weekend, and one weekend only - it is okay to dress up as Princess Leia in public, a Storm trooper, or even Edward Cullen (if you are ever so inclined). I'm not going to lie, I feel slightly scarred from the girl-on-girl wrestling - but hey! There ought to be something at this convention that doesn't sit quite right with me. We sat in on a 'Doctor Who' Q&A which was so amusing - what is up with everyone wanting hugs though? Is that really a question?! I LOVED the skate comp. I returned to Armageddon on Monday afternoon especially to watch the finals. These kids are so bendy, it's pretty awesome. Sadly, I didn't find my future husband though. Oh well, there's always next year! Boom!
