 You know a soundtrack is going to be good when BECK and BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE are hired to write music for the film's fictional bands. For the 'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' official soundtrack, Beck has written all of the songs for the bassist character of Michael Cera's movie-band Sex Bob-Omb. For all four Sex Bob-Omb tracks on the soundtrack, Beck recorded all of the instrumentation, with vocals done by actors from the film. Broken Social Scene also feature as fictional band Crash And The Boys, plus there's a bonus sweet treat of an unreleased song from METRIC.
