'Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole'

Adam Young of OWL CITY recently informed the world that he wrote and recorded a song - entitled 'To The Sky' - for Zack Snyder's upcoming animated 3-D film 'Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole', which is due to be released in NZ on October 4th.

"Wrote a song called "To the Sky" featured in upcoming Warner Bros. film "Legend of the Guardians." Gonna be a hoot and a holler."

The film is based on the first of the three Guardians of Ga'Hoole books written by Kathryn Lasky - which follow the adventures of a young owl called Soren in his battle to save all of owlkind.

Young has also shot a music video for 'To The Sky' - which according to E! was shot in an old Los Angeles movie theatre. Apparently 'To the Sky' will be played in the film when the orphaned owls make their way to Ga'Hoole, and also during the end credits.
