As one of our readers immediately said to us upon reading the news, it's nice when awards are given to those that deserve them! Which is why, we are all a-flutter delighted for our favourite local powerpop-sters, KIDS OF 88. Winning Best Electronic Video last night at the Juice TV Awards, was a well-deserved mid-year celebration to mark 2010, so far!

Dukes' 'Vampires' won Video Of The Year - and all of the Awards show footage will be broadcast on Juice from midday today (Tuesday), then repeated this Friday from 6PM. Click HERE for party photos from the evening.

Our other loves - The Naked And Famous, Artisan Guns and Lisa Crawley - sadly missed out on their respective nominations... but that's what next year is for, right?
