If you aren't already familiar with the newest reality talent show on the block 'THE VOICE', then let me fill you in... Think 'American Idol' meets 'X Factor' with a star-studded judging and vocal coaching panel; Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. The auditions start off with a number of contestants singing, the catch is that the judges can't see them, they can only hear them. The second stage is the battles - each judge has eight people on their team, who they mentor and coach. The judges see their own team members battle each other and only four make it through to the top sixteen. From then on it's similar to 'American Idol', where the public vote for the contestants they like, whilst the judges still mentor and coach their team members through the whole series. I became hooked on this show after watching the blind auditions and became particularly obsessed with a few of the contestants - especially crowd favourite Javier Colon, his voice is out of this world.
