 According to the 'New York Daily News', twenty-three television series' were filmed in New York City last year... one of those, being 'GOSSIP GIRL'. To celebrate, MAYOR BLOOMBERG visited the show's set in Queens to celebrate its 100th episode - and to celebrate the $200 million spent on local development over the past five years, just to produce 'Gossip Girl'. In honour of the show's upcoming 100th episode to air, Bloomberg declared a one-time 'Gossip Girl' Day. In these photos, Bloomberg joins cast-members Kelly Rutherford, Blake Lively, Penn Badgley, Matthew Settle and Kaylee DeFer, at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, Queens.
