Oh my goodness. SIX60. Live. WOW.
It's not often that my mind is blown from watching a local band live. After watching some painfully awful local bands (I also blame my 'emo' stage in high-school), I am thankful that I still have my hearing.
More importantly, that I had my hearing last Friday night. If I went deaf tomorrow, I wouldn't mind <touches wood>. But honestly, the sweet, sweet sound of Six60 to my ears was seriously the best treat of the week - J9, make no mistake your 'I'm CEO Bitch' mug is AMAZING!
They were awesome because: a) Matiu (lead vocals) has a WICKED voice, b) there were pretty lights, and c) the crowd knew every single word to every single song.
