To me, the truest example of love that I think I’ve ever seen in my life is my nana and granddad. They’ve got all these really beautiful pictures of when they were young, like ‘30s photographs, and they looked really fun as a couple. I have issues with society and what we’re told that we’re supposed to feel about love and sex and relationships. Not all of us do feel that, and I think it can instill the wrong ideals within young people, because you feel like you have to be looking for something really lusty and exciting all the time.
