 [ above: Demi Lovato top left and Alex Welch front center ] THIS MAKES ME SAD... TMZ has obtained photos of the 'Camp Rock 2' dancer that DEMI LOVATO allegedly punched in the face. These photos were taken days after the incident. The 21-year-old dancer Alex "Shorty" Welch, has also danced alongside Miley Cyrus and T-Pain, and dances in Justin Bieber's 'Baby' music video. Welch has also appeared in 'Date Movie', 'Step Up 2 The Streets', and 'Bring It On All Or Nothing'. Team Welch's side of the story is that she had been "minding her own business on a private jet leaving Bogata, Colombia ... when Demi walked up to Alex and with a closed fist, struck her on the left side of her face." Apparently, Welch was knocked out of her seat by the punch and had to receive emergency medical care. We all know the rest... Demi was removed from the plane, returned home, then checked herself into rehab... It's now been reported that Welch's lawyer Donald Karpel, has told RadarOnline.com that "Alex is seeking a settlement, an apology from Demi and a donation made to a charity of her choice." While the case is being settled out of court, Team Lovato have asked Welch to refrain from doing interviews during this negotiation period.
