 I have totally changed my opinion about MGMT in the last couple of hours. Sarah interviewed Andrew VanWyngarden from MGMT this morning - you can expect the interview online late-February, as it's to promote their New Zealand March tour dates - and he sounded super sweet. Andrew kind of issued a date-invitation to New Zealand: "come to the shows so that we can all get coffee and go record shopping..." and yes, he talked about what dinosaur he would be if he were a dino. I do have a weakness for any boy that likes record shopping. But also, watch the below video... at around four minutes are my favourite clips about their ad campaign for children's clothing and VanWyngarden admitting that he wrote "acid cookies" on a cookie bag so that everyone else would be too scared to eat them and he wouldn't have to share any.
