By now, I am sure you will already have OWL CITY and CARLY RAE JEPSEN's fun-tastic duet 'Good Time' well and truly stuck in your head... but while we wait for both parties to release their new albums [which will both feature the song] - Owl City's 'The Midsummer Station' on August 17th and Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Kiss' on September 14th - we've compiled some ideas for your next camping adventure.

P.S. Fact: 'Good Time' was co-written by Owl City's Adam Young, [Relient K frontman] Matt Thiessen and Brian Lee.

#1. First you need a drink! Unless you have your very own slushy machine, then you may find this recipe for a Tropical Slushy helpful...
INGREDIENTS: 6 cups water (divided) | 5 bananas (ripe) | 2 cups sugar | 0.68kg juice concentrate (frozen orange, thawed) | 0.3kg frozen lemonade concentrate (thawed) | 1.304kg pineapple juice (unsweetened) | 6 litres carbonated beverages (flavoured).
HOW TO: In a blender container, process 1 cup of water, bananas and sugar until smooth. Pour into a large container; add the concentrates, pineapple juice and remaining water. Cover and freeze. Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving. Just before serving, break up and mash mixture with a potato masher. Stir in soda.

#2. Secondly, a snack always helps. S'mores are our ideal. Here's a recipe...
INGREDIENTS: 1 package brownie mix | 6 Super Wine biscuits | 1+1/2 cups miniature marshmallows | 8 bars milk chocolate, coarsely chopped.
HOW TO: Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celcius. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions. Spread into a greased 9x13 inch pan. In a medium bowl, break Super Wines into small pieces and toss with miniature marshmallows and milk chocolate. Set s'more mixture aside. Bake brownies for 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Remove, and sprinkle the s'more goodies evenly over the top. Bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow brownies to cool before cutting into squares.

#5. It's been a life-long dream of mine to own a cat-shaped kite. I will also accept butterfly kites, just like the one flown in the 'Good Time' music video. Here's a close substitute you can purchase from Amazon HERE.

#6. When life gives you the great outdoors + sunshine, one ought to make the most of things and make daisy chains.
HOW TO: Pick some daisies. Use your thumbnail to split the stalk about halfway down the length of a daisy and thread the stalk of another daisy through this hole, then make a hole in this daisy's stalk with your thumbnail and thread another daisy through it.

#7. Nothing says I'm having a 'Good Time', like wearing an animal mask on top of your head, right?

#8. Who said that camping isn't a ball? Take me back to my earlier times of Summer camping trips with friends… I wish life was one big party in the forest!

#9. Why not pair a whole lot of denim on denim together?! As seen on Carly Rae Jepsen in this music video... maybe it's the key to having a good time?
