![]() I have a confession to make. I am a Summer Bay addict. The beaches, the drama, the girls. You name it and I am a sucker for it. This obsession began for me at the ripe old age of fifteen and for the last ten years, five thirty PM has become my favourite time of the day. In 2006, my obsession came to a head when I visited Palm Beach (a.k.a. Summer Bay), a few hours north of Sydney - and got to witness the magic unfolding with my own eyes. A bunch of actors were on the set including Rick Dolby, Matilda Hunter, Jack & Tony Holden, Belle Taylor and Drew whats-his-face and it was pretty much the best moment of my life. ![]() Nowadays, 'Home and Away' is all I talk about: whether it is reminiscing with friends about how Max found Tash the Pig-Latin speaking Mermaid, or how Mama Rose tricked her cult of Believers, or even the day they changed out the actor who played Flynn and Hayley. These are memories we should all cherish and remember forever. MATT BARTHOW is the Music & Schedules co-ordinator at C4 - and will be a panelist at the 2010 Official Music Month Summit. The Summit is being held this year at the Auckland Museum (Domain Drive, Parnell), from 10:00AM-5:00PM, on Saturday May 29th. Barthow is a guest-speaker for the 'How To Get Your Single Or Video Played On The Radio And Music TV' seminar at 2:00PM. ![]() |
