Cupcakes are a real treat! Delicate portions of bliss that not only brings a smile to our faces, but also melt our hearts AND our taste-buds. Whether you're an amateur (thank goodness for pre-mixes) or a connoisseur, everyone knows that when it comes to the perfect cupcake, tasting good is only half the battle - looking good is just as important.
Recently I stumbled across this website 'CUPCAKES TAKE THE CAKE' - a blog created by Rachel Kramer Bussel and Nichelle Stevens which is all about cupcakes by some of the best bakers around. Prepare to be inspired...
The site features cupcakes from one of my favourites, including HELLO NAOMI. Based in Australia, Naomi (a former engineer turned baker) not only makes some seriously amazing cupcakes, she also makes fantastic cookies! That's another story altogether. For now, let's just stick with her cupcakes:
GLORIOUS TREATS posted these gorgeous Hydrangea cupcakes - from the petals to the colour, it's hard to tell what's real and what's not. These are simply too good to eat!
These cupcakes by SOCIETY CUPCAKES in London are like eye candy! The colours and the sprinkles make you feel like a kid again. They say that cupcakes are for any and every occasion... and I totally agree!
