TONY HAWK... WHY WE'RE EXCITED: Skateboarding definitely isn't normally on my brain, but this seems like it would be a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see the ultimate pro-skater doing what he does best, skating. You can put down your own board or gaming console for a day to witness Tony Hawk at the 2012 Big Day Out.
Origin: San Diego, California, USA. DID YOU KNOW? Tony started skating for the brand 'Powell' at age thirteen. When he was the first to do the '900' [trick] he was skating for 'Birdhouse', and then went on to create his own brand 'Hawk'. FAVOURITE TRICK: The 540, with his favourite variation being the Mute. "I OWNED A HAWK T-SHIRT [that's for a twelve-year-old-boy] BEFORE BIG DAY OUT"...
