 KATY PERRY - now also Mrs. Russell Brand - has created a signature fragrance which is now available for purchase via Nordstrom HERE. 'Purr by Katy Perry' is packaged in a purple cat-shaped bottle and comes in either a 1.7OZ (USD$45) or a 3.4OZ (USD$65) size. "Purr by Katy Perry begins with the aroma of peach nectar and forbidden apple, evolves with a distinct floral bouquet of jasmine blossom, Bulgarian rose and vanilla orchid, and slowly reveals accents of creamy sandalwood and musk. Like the singer herself, Purr is playful yet sophisticated. Katy Perry transcends barriers with her music—so does her new fragrance. - By Katy Perry."  Of her signature fragrance, Perry has said: "There are amazing fragrances backed by other celebrities, but what I’m bringing is not like any other,” Katy says. “It wasn’t just like, ‘I love gardenias.’ That would have been the easy route. I really wanted to develop a scent that was completely unlike anything I’d smelled before and not one that smelled like a knockoff of another scent. I’d never want to do anything ‘just because.'"  Perry designed the perfume bottle herself, saying that: "You can put all the bells and whistles on things, and it can still smell like shit. I was very particular about this...
