It's been a long time since I dived into the world of 'D.I.Y.'. After a long time pining over D.I.Y. ideas, I finally agreed (to myself) that it was time to get back on the wagon and indulge in the idea of cutting up stuff.

So,
I'd like to introduce you to the Coup De Main D.I.Y. - 'Skull tee'.

It's an easy enough idea to do to any of your old t-shirts, or like we did, get a new t-shirt especially for the occasion.

I can't promise you that it will be the best piece of art you've ever done, but I can promise that you will receive wild reactions from your friends regarding your 'creative' skills.

YOU WILL NEED:
1x T-shirt (Ours is a Grey Marle Staple Pocket Tee from AS COLOUR).
1x Scissors (preferably fabric scissors).
1x Pen of some sort (we used a vivid, fabric chalk would work as well).

STEPS:
Below is an outline of the skull pattern that we used for our D.I.Y. - you can change your outline if you want your skull to have more teeth or bigger eyes, it's totally up to your style of 'skull'. I went for this option because it seemed a little happier than the other skulls out there.

With your pen/chalk, draw the outline onto your t-shirt - we recommend having the cut-out on the back of the tee. Make sure you have cardboard in between the t-shirt, so the vivid doesn't soak through to the front.

Once you've drawn the outline, carefully cut the outline out with fabric scissors - ensure you cut just outside the vivid line, so there are no marks left over!

And VOILA! You have your very own Skull Tee...

AS COLOUR is our recommended store for basic tee's, hoodies and sweatshirts - make sure you check out their online store HERE!
