NIXON'S 'FLURO RUBBER PLAYER' Following the success of their first collector's edition of 'Rubber Player 4 x 4 watches' launched in March of '09, these limited edition mens watches surfaced once again in August this year. Rather than a palatte of primary colours plus green - another collection of 4 watches each bold in fluorescent colour dropped one by one over a space of 4 months to selected dealers around the world. The first drop was on August 15th beginning with fluro ORANGE.
September 15th came fluro GREEN
Then as a sweet suprise for Breast Cancer Awareness mont, fluro PINK dropped on October 15th. Portions of the proceeds went to 'Boarding for Breast Cancer'.
And when November 15th came around, collecters of these Fluro Player watches scrambled to their nearest dealer for the fourth and final watch. Fluro YELLOW.
Now for the tech specs.....The Fluro Rubber Player has a 3-hand Japanese quartz movement, a custom molded, high-polish, gloss finish polyurethane case and band and features a diamond at the 6 o'clock position. A DIAMOND!!!!!!!!!!!!! This limited watch also comes with a collector's kit stand and packaging and retail for $170. Most are sold out by now so count yourself lucky if you manage to score one someway or somehow!
