T-POST. They claim to be the "world's first wearable magazine". That's a pretty big call but who am I say they're not? I'll leave that to the Guinness World Records police. In the meantime, let's explore this so-called 'world first'.

T-Post
Issue #42 THE FACE OF HONESTY AND EVIL designed by EEM

Who are they?
A t-shirt subscription service based in Sweden. What began as a fun project between friends, T-Post has become a phenomenon and now distribute worldwide.

Issue #57 MAKE OR AMEN BREAK IT designed by T-Post All-Stars

A t-shirt magazine. Got it. What kind of stories and designs are we talking?
They print a 'current yet offbeat column-style news story' on the inside of a cotton shirt. Then they enlist the talents of an upcoming designer to interpret the news story as an illustration. Next to each story is a short bio on the corresponding artist.

Issue #47 NEGOTIATING A WAR designed by Siggi Eggertsson

Why should you get in on it?
For starters, you can never have enough t-shirts in your wardrobe. Secondly, these are limited edition runs ie. the number of t-shirts they print is exactly the amount of subscribers they have. No more, no less - so kudos to them for this environmental approach! Thirdly, no ads. And finally, if you subscribe, you will get something fresh and new every month.

Issue #51 HIGHER EDUCATION designed by Marc Stromberg

Who are these models?
Subscribers of the magazine (you can submit yourself too if you subscribe... you've just got to be able to get yourself to the T-Post studios in Stockholm).

Issue #30 20 YEAR NAP designed by Hvass&Hannibal

What's the latest issue?
#58 aptly titled 'Retail Rumble' - the article reflects on the recent number of stories in the media where employees are pushed to their limits by customers and vice versa:

"It was once believed that "The customer is always right". Is this still the case or are employees justified by sticking up for themselves?"

"In some cases, both employee and customer rage can come to physical blows. In fact, there’s even some dramatic surveillance footage of an Ohio women violently punching a McDonald’s employee through a drive-thru window after being told they were only serving breakfast."

Clever aren't they?
I'd add intelligent, informative and fashionable to that.

Am I starting to feel like I'm having a Q & A with myself?
Yes.
