Mount Mauganui based label 'LOWER' have been working on an exciting collaboration with the internationally renowned brand, 'Casio'. More specifically, they have put their own spin on the classic 'G-SHOCK' DW-5600EG-9VS model watch.
"The inspiration behind this design was taken from a classic leather protected watch that became popular with farmers as it was suited to the ruggedness of farm work. Farming is a major part of our heritage as a country and something that many New Zealanders have had ties with in their lives. Some of us have spent a lot of time on sheep farms back in the days and it is such a fascinating and rich part of New Zealand culture we felt it would be great to pay homage to this with our G-Shock collab."
