I am bowing down to Alexander McQueen's Faithful collection of leather handbags. Inspired by English singer, songwriter and actress Marianne Faithful, they are divine. Full of detail, full of character yet totally functional.
Behold...the Faithful leather glove clutch:
The clutch comes in black, brown and also a black Python. The driving glove is detachable and magnets on the front corners for opening and closing. Very rock 'n' roll. I love it! Then there's the Faithful leather tote bag:
Amazing amounts of detail and the corners are very reminiscent of the cone bra Jean Paul Gaultier designed for Madonna! The bag is covered with zips, pockets and stud detailing. Fastening-buckles for the handles and all over quite non-symmetrical but it all just works! It looks hot AND it's practical. And although it's not a 'Faithful' bag, the Knuckle Duster Clutch is definitely worth a mention! The rings on top fit through your fingers and have been sprinkled with Swarovski crystals.
