The new 'Love Before Glory' range represents pride, and the journey and memories of designer JAXIN HALL's heritage. His main influence was a photograph he laid his eyes of in a small mountain town in Arizona, which got him thinking about his school-life, mainly in the sense of 'pride'. He says that: "In New Zealand we don't ever get to experience that side of school pride, so I wanted to create a line that embodied that look and sense of pride in where you're from but also embody my own schooling - Manurewa, didn't graduate, a little rough round the edges, but ultimately doing okay. Haha. So this is what I ended up with!"
One thing I really appreciate about this range is the attention to detail - all the way from the LBG logo repeat-pattern on the yoke of the windbreaker jacket, to the embroidered appliqué badges. The perfect mix of contemporary and classic, produced in a relatable and cohesive range.
