TOPSHOP, a.k.a. retail heaven, is making its way to Auckland, more precisely... The Department Store! [insert knees-on-carpet-worshipping-stance] Who ever, really thought that this day would come? Especially so soon! The day I stepped inside TOPSHOP HQ's on Oxford Street in London, I understood why this label is such an influential stronghold in the fashion retail industry worldwide. TOPSHOP is the epitome of 'retail', they know how to turn over the latest trends like no one else.
Since TOPSHOP churns out around 300 styles a week, The Department Store are going to hand-pick their favourites, which will be sold on their top floor. These items will hit the store at exactly the same time they hit stores in the UK - which is the best part - we aren't a season behind, except we will get the opposite season (heck! I'm not complaining). The prices will be similar to what we can expect to pay online, so comparative to the New Zealand market, these items will dig a little deeper into your wallet. The Department Store will slowly be introducing collaborative TOPSHOP ranges, including Christopher Kane and Kate Moss.
