The Saturdays

The prestigious annual PRIDE OF BRITAIN awards were held this week at Grosvenor House in Mayfair. Amongst the crowd were a few memorable famous faces from Baby Spice (Emma Bunton) to Katy Perry's husband, Russell Brand. The awards are well known for honouring ordinary people who have acted bravely or extraordinarily in challenging situations.

Why are celebrities there you ask? Acting is hard - we get it - but it's not extraordinarily challenging - then I read on - celebrities made up the judging panel, and the event is also televised. Awe *sigh* what a beautiful event to recognise the heroes of our day.
