Shed 6 bustled with Fashion Quarterly show attendees filling up all the room's seats in anticipation for the very first show of the 2011 NZ FASHION FESTIVAL kick-off.
CYBELE began with a bang, turning heads with their striking delicate prints and their patent-leather-meets-glam pieces! Models rocked down the runway to 'First Communion' by Gang Gang Dance.
Take a peak below at our snaps from the Cybele spectacle that was...
HELEN CHERRY:
TAYLOR's extremely loose knits were standout layering pieces, alongside a very black and white colour palette...
MOOCHI: I was quietly impressed with the return of the turban, this year in velvet! Moochi always style turbans perfectly... I FELL IN LOVE. Their varied patchwork cape seemed like a whole story on its own - but I liked that it was styled in amongst their perfectly tailored pieces. I especially loved their orange contemporary shift-like dress, with the brilliant fluffy over-the-shoulder bag.
Overall, the Fashion Quarterly show was exceptional and quality entertainment - filled with stunning models, clothes to die for, and enough Chambord to go around two-fold.
