'LOVER' the label, presented their Spring/Summer '11 collection, in front of an audience at The Opera House's Studio on Monday night for Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. As a label that defines themselves as "same album, different song", it's definitely an interesting idea to contextualize within the showcase of their range. Lover also took up the opportunity to celebrate their ten year anniversary, since the creation of their brand. They stick to a limited colour palette of black, white, beige and red. Some have called it restrained, but I believe that it's an effective way to keep the story cohesive and consistent. Especially alongside their outlandish innovation; their exceptionally feminine pieces, juxtaposed with more box-y tailored suit separates. Colours: Black, white, beige and red. Key looks: Lace dresses, boxed blazers, and sheer shirts. We heart... Red lace dress. It is absolutely adorable!
