The 'hippies' from the 60's brought about the most pivotal moments in popular music history, but little did we know that this 'Woodstock Generation' would initiate the greatest style revolution as well.

It's humorous to think that despite their 'carefree' and 'happy-go-lucky' living, they were able to make such a significant impact on fashion and style, to the point that they have literally become the focal inspiration to the 'hippy' styles of today, creating the 'bohemian' girl.

With Twiggy reigning as a style sensation from the 60's, to the Olsen twins today - swinging out in suede leather, John Lennon specs, zig-zag patterns and a whole lot of colour - 'boho' is all go.

We've seen designers as such as 'Thursday Island' re-work the bohemian style as a brand that represents a 'free-spirted' urban, mixed with a vintage kind of style - this season's concept is 'Azure Safariya' with exotic prints emerging, and that co-existing carefree spirit.
