'THE SATORIALIST' is one of the most influential and noted street-style blogs in fashion, worldwide. SCOTT SCHUMAN who is the creator of 'The Satorialist' fashion blog set out into the streets in 2005 camera-in-hand after feeling a "disconnection between what [he] was selling in [his] showrooms and what people were wearing in real life."
He isn't all about 'what’s in' or 'what’s out' in fashion, but gets inspired by the intricate details. For example it may be the hem-line in a pair of pants that a fifty-year-old businessman is wearing, or the sheer beauty of a silk 'Hermez' scarf put together with a stunningly tailored coral blue coat, or how yellow can be paired together with the most peculiar colours - yet has the ability to bring about a nostalgic melody of the past.
He has a remarkable ability in capturing the beauty of fashion in its art form and "shoots in a way that most designers [hunt] for inspiration" - capturing moments of magnificently crafted "abstract colours, proportions, pattern mixing, or mixed genres".
