Lengthy hemlines have been on the tip-of-the-tongue for many trend-seekers this past year. So many of us have been through the long-hemline-phobia, not used to having skirts lingering any lower than our knees - hence this sudden change from short to long has been a precarious shift in the skirt-section.
Thanks to the cutting edge stylistas of the world, these lengthier cuts have been become blatant beauties and I for one can say they have grown on me in great lengths!
The greatest thing about these splendours is that they can flatter and compliment a variety of contours. Whether you are petite, curvy, tall or short, as long as the proportions are correct, long hemlines are the way to go.
They come in various materials, patterns and textures. Leopard-print skirts are my personal favourite in the lengthy hemline. Perhaps you could go for a deep, white polka dotted hemline for a touch of chic, or a sheer white skirt generously dusted with crystals. The possibilities are endless - depending on availability in stores of course!
These ladies below know what it means to proportion it!
