‘LIAM’ - a new sister line to the ‘RUBY’ family - debuted their first collection at New Zealand Fashion Week 2011!
With Watercolours [the band] opening the show, the atmosphere was buzzing - especially since it was a 9.30am start (holler at the coffee hand-out).
Styling was a strength in the runway show and the colour palette displayed in the range was edgier than expected from a local label – hats off to ‘Liam’ for taking a risk that worked in their favour.
Necklines were kept high, with draping low back styles or key-hole features. The assortment of pants varied from a working-class women's cut to eccentric floral patterned trousers – they are on our ‘must-have’ list for next season, for sure!
