In my eyes, 'JIL SANDER' can do no wrong. End of story. Hence when she begun her more cost-effective range 'JIL SANDER NAVY', I was thrilled to see what she had come up with.
Showing at New York Fashion Week, her latest collection epitomises the life and fashion of a Girl Guide. From her on-duty uniforms to her off-duty more tea-party like pieces - the influence is evident in the construction and execution of every single piece.
Nothing is over styled, over tailored or over coloured. Everything is perfectly portioned, in a flattering way but also in a sense that it's on-trend, however it won't be out-of-fashion in two weeks. Colours that appeared were: navy, cherry red, beige, hues of blue, coral and black.
