It’s safe to say that there is no brand like 'MEADHAM KIRCHHOFF'... there’s just no brand like them. Always presenting a ‘what the...’ collection at shows, spectators can always expect the unexpected at their runway shows.

I feel like it’s a rare attribute to a runway show these days to have an ‘x factor’ appeal. Whether it’s communicated through the garments, music, lighting, models, a performance… I don’t care! To me it seems like you have a better chance at being shocked when a six-year-old can kick your ass playing air hockey at TimeOut.

Well, that was until I come across coverage of the 'Meadham Kirchhoff' show at London Fashion Week 2011... and I finally felt like not all is lost in the world! 'Meadham Kirchhoff' show that there are still innovative fashion designers looking back on the past to create a more interesting and entertaining future. I know that it’s only fashion - trends come and go every season - but this isn’t rocket science, it’s meant to be fun and light-hearted.

'Meadham Kirchhoff’s' Spring '12 collection was based around ‘girls on the cakes’ – e.g. all of the perfect pageant princesses and giving them a place in the world, in reality. I adore the colour palette which consists of every single colour you can buy love-hearts in; blue, red, soft pink, yellow and white. And let's not forgot the immaculate styling with rainbow hue plaid, underneath vibrant shift dresses.
