During New Zealand Fashion Week 2011, designer PETROVA HAMMOND [above] caught our eye with her self-styling of astonishingly vibrant, lovely outfits. With the post-fashion week syndrome we are experiencing here at Coup De Main, I thought it was time that I had a look at her marvelous collections under her label: 'LADY PETROVA'.
Petrova was a finalist on 'Arena TV’s Project Runway Australia' in 2008 and she encourages her customers to experiment with their wardrobes and to develop an individual sense of style to build their fashion confidence.
With the launch of her Summer '11 collection, I have died and gone to style heaven. The collection collaborates cunning colours, with a strong distinction of 'long lost feminity'. Her pieces are flawless in aesthetic, with beautiful bellowing hem-lines. The brave and bold colours she uses so obviously throughout her pieces create a charismatic, yet feminist look that is a pull for all of us!
