I heart Nom*D and this was one of the shows I was dying to see.....they didn't disappoint either. Held at Sky City theatre this year, Nom*D opened with a short film which was beautifully made by 'A Curious Film', shot by Grant Adams and directed by Kirsty Cameron which featured their Winter 2010 collection titled "Turncoats".
The film is based on 'a journey from innocence to experience, with a few lessons in non-conformity along the way'. After the film models including Zippora Seven, Avril and Hal Cheshire walked out in groups of three's into the audience in the same order as in the film. Coincedence? I think not.

It's like when people try and re-create bed hair. It actually takes a lot more work than just rolling out of bed. Same theory applies here.

Stylist Karen Inderbitzen-Waller (AMAZING) is one of those people who has the vision and is able to really make a collection that's already show-worthy, and takes it to another level.
