'QUBIC' isn’t your average sneaker-freaker retail store… founded by ultimate travel-expert FRANK LIEW [a.k.a. Frazahhhh] and his better half IVY ONG, you can definitely expect the unexpected when stepping foot in this Newmarket dream.
The store is currently hosting a NZ-exclusive window installation for the LeBron James x Nike Sportswear FA/HO Lifestyle Collection. It’s exciting to see that the level of visual merchandising in the store, as well as the innovative window installation collaboration, is truly of an international standard.
Qubic’s retail inception begun in 2007 - 07/07/07 to be exact - and has built a solid fan-base with their one-of-a-kind collaborations, the latest and greatest being their “all heroes” adidas Originals x Qubic Store x All Blacks Campus 80’s. These collaborations attract hundreds of people, some camp out overnight to secure themselves a pair of exclusive kicks.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out the store, make sure you do. Maybe you could even challenge yourself to a world’s-largest-gummy-bear-inhaling-challenge, by attempting to beat the insanely crazy current world record of forty-five seconds!
