 When one band slows, another band rises... and ELEVATE: I AM - the new side-project of Joe Brown (vocalist for severely underrated [in my opinion] post-hardcore band A Static Lullaby) - seem to be on the way up. Accompanying Brown - who is the vocalist and lyricist for E:IA - is John Martinez (A Static Lullaby, Lorene Drive) on guitar and vocals, Austin Jones (13 Killings) on keys and stage programming, and Kris Comeaux (Lorene Drive) on drums, all together creating a ridiculous pool of talent, laying solid foundations on what has the potential to be one of the next big things in the post-hardcore scene. It's still early days for Elevate: I Am - only having released two demo tracks to date which you can find on their Myspace HERE. You can also check out the below video which was posted on the band's YouTube page and the band also have a Twitter which you can follow HERE. The future looks promising for this band - they are definitely one to keep an eye on!  |
