 Yesterday, FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS officially announced the release date for their new album due to be released next year. In a blog on the band's official Tumblr site, FTSK said: "New Album Coming Out 3.01.11!!!!!! Go tell the world! You have no idea how excited we are to release this self titled album to you guys!! We have screamed, yelled, sweat, danced, laughed, and punched pinball machines as well as had many band bonfires to decide the direction we want our band to sprint towards! We went into the studio with David Bendeth to record 5 songs for our next release of The Weekend: Saturday, but whilst we were in the process of pre-production and tracking our band came to an all-inclusive decision that we wanted to record 5-6 more songs and go all out and create another full length album!! Many nights are spent by us crowding around our speakers in the back lounge of our bus, listening to our new bouncy yet heavy, heartfelt and meaningful songs that were written by us from our heart that has real relevance in our lives and what we, as a band, go through in our lives as a touring band. We could not be any more ecstatic for our New Self-Titled Full Length Album to be blaring in your car stereo, singing you to sleep, and hopefully being the soundtrack of your year if not life ;)! You are the reason we are a band and each one of you we love deeply! Thank for all the love and support over the past 4 years! Woohoo -Your FTSK" So for us New Zealanders, that American date translates into the 1st of March, 2011. There's no word yet as to if this album will be physically released in NZ and/or a local release date. |
