Miles Kane - 'Colour Of The Trap'
You will know MILES KANE as Alex Turner's The Last Shadow Puppets other-half. That's Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys, thank you very much... and while you're marveling at Miles' uncanny resemblance to Paul McCartney - I'm talking, like, back when he was a babe of course - I want you to write down May 16th in your 2011 calendar, because that's the date from when you will be able to purchase a copy of Kane's debut solo album for your very own.

These are the important things that you ought to know in the mean-time:
- Noel Gallagher contributed guest-vocals to 'My Fantasy'.
- Clémence Poésy (of 'Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire' and 'Gossip Girl') d-u-e-t-s with Kane on 'Happenstance'.
- Alex Turner co-wrote 'Telepathy'.
- Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals sings backing-vocals throughout the album.

...and! I really love track nine, 'Take The Night'. I've been listening to a lot of sixties pop-music lately, so I was delighted to hear Miles putting a modern-spin on his sixties influences in some of the album's stand-out tracks.
