 Three years on from the release of their last album 'Konk', THE KOOKS are set to return in 2011 with their third studio album 'Junk Of The Heart' - due to be released in New Zealand on September 12th. The band recorded their new album at Los Angeles' The Sound Factory and London's Sarm Studios, with production duties handled by Tony Hoffer. The Kooks - Luke Pritchard, Peter Denton, Hugh Harris, and Paul Garred - will give fans a first taste of what to expect come August 29th, when they release the album's first single and title-track. Of the new album, frontman Luke Pritchard has said that: "It’s upbeat; an album to play in the sun. What we really wanted to do was build a proper, full album.
