MARK ALLAN HOPPUS Role: Vocals, Bass Guitar. Birthday: March 15th 1972. Activities: As well as his work with blink-182, Hoppus keeps himself busy with a wide variety of activities ranging from hiring himself out as a music producer (Motion City Soundtrack, New Found Glory, The Matches) to television host (Hoppus on Music on Fuse TV). While blink-182 were on hiatus, he formed the band +44 with fellow 182'r Travis Barker. Fun Facts: - Hoppus went to college with plans to become an English Teacher, but dropped out before he finished. - Mark never took bass lessons growing up, instead he taught himself to play by playing along to his favourite bands, such as the Decendents and Bad Religion. - Mark married Skye Everly on December 2, 2000 and on August 5th 2002 the couple had their son, Jack Hoppus.
THOMAS MATTHEW DELONGE JR (Tom DeLonge) Role: Guitar, Vocals. Birthday: December 13th 1975. Activities: Like Hoppus, DeLonge has kept himself busy outside of his blink-182 duties. As well as being the sole owner of Macbeth footwear, Tom also fronts the band Angels & Airwaves which he started during the blink-182 hiatus, plus he has dabbled in music video directing (Taking Back Sunday’s ‘This Photograph Is The Proof (I Know You Know)', and started up/works with two websites Modlife and most recently strangetimes.com which focuses on his obsession with aliens. Fun Facts: - Tom was expelled from his first high school for drinking at a basketball game. He then made the move to Rancho Bernardo High School which is where he met Anne Hoppus - Mark's sister. - His first musical instrument was the trumpet, which he received for Christmas when he was 11. - Tom married Jennifer Jenkins on May 26th 2001. Jimmy Eat World performed at the wedding reception and Tom gifted each of his groomsmen a silver yo-yo. The couple now have two children - Ava Elizabeth born July 15th 2002 and Jonas Rocket born August 16th 2006. - A not so fun fact: Earlier this year, DeLonge announced that in 2010 he had been diagnosed with Skin Cancer, but is now "all okay".
TRAVIS LANDON BARKER Role: Drums. Birthday: November 14th, 1975. Activities: Not to be left out, Barker is also a busy man. As well as blink-182, Barker is listed as the drummer for +44, The Transplants, and Box Car Racer. Before DJ AM’s death, the duo were frequent collaborator’s forming TRV$DJAM. Barker also founded the clothing company Famous Stars and Straps, and this year released his first solo album which featured artists such as Tom Morello, The Game and Slash. A few years back Barker was also the star of MTV reality show 'Meet The Barkers' which focused on his life with his then-wife and children. Fun Facts: - Travis has been married twice! He married his girlfriend Melissa Kennedy on September 22nd 2001 - only to get divorced 11 months later. He then married Shanna Moakler on October 30th 2004 in a gothic style wedding themed after Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Together they had Landon Asher and Alabama Luella. - Barker is a beast on the drums, and it’s no wonder why! He got his first drum kit at age four and started lessons at age five. Alongside the drums, Barker has dabbled with Trumpet, Piano, Synths and singing. - Barker once had aspirations of becoming a pro surfer or skater.
