In celebration of the release of TAYLOR SWIFT's first ever concert CD/DVD set, we have compiled a list of our favourite thirteen reasons to give thanks this Thanksgiving... I mean, SWIFTGIVING. ...and why thirteen reasons, you ask? "Thirteen is my lucky number. I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first Number 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I've been on awards show and won an award, I've seen 13 an uncanny amount of times that day. When I haven't won awards, I haven't seen 13 at all. The VMAs were on the 13th! I’m sorry—that's just funny." #13. Taylor is heaps into ugly sweaters.   #12. She likes to bake!  #11. Her journal-ing is adorable.  #10. Taylor is BFF with EMMA STONE.   #9. In fourth grade - that's Standard 3 or Year 5, for us New Zealanders - Taylor won a national poetry contest with a three-page poem entitled, 'Monster In My Closet'. These are the opening lines of that poem: "There’s a monster in my closet and I don’t know what to do/Have you ever seen him?/Has he ever pounced on you?"  #8. "I love conversations with kids in the meet and greet lines—little people with little voices! I love babies. Someday I would love to be a parent, but I want that time to come when I've experienced so much of the world. My life will be devoted to making that child's life as wonderful, beautiful, magical and perfect as it can possibly be. I want to wait until there is no ounce of me left that has anything self-centered to experience."  #7. Tears of happiness! #6. She can rap 'Super Bass'! #5. Taylor designs pretty greeting cards.   #4. She owns the cutest cat in the whole entire world!    #3. "I don't drink to get drunk because that's just not cute." #2. She voices Zac Efron's love interest in the upcoming film-adaptation of Dr. Seuss' 'THE LORAX'. #1. 'THUG STORY'. Enough said.
