TAYLOR SWIFT is definitely no Scrooge when it comes to sharing the profits of her own earnings with those in need... In 2008, Swift donated $100,000 to the Iowa Red Cross to help flood victims, and the following year in 2009 made donations totalling $250,000 to various American schools which she had either attended or been involved with, and in 2010 donated $500,000 during a flood relief telethon for Tennessee. Earlier this year, Taylor transformed the final dress rehearsal for the North American leg of her 'Speak Now Tour' into a benefit concert for victims of recent tornadoes in the United States - raising over $750,000, which she further contributed an extra $250,000 to in July, in support of West Alabama. But it's not only Swift's homeland that have been lucky beneficiaries. In 2009, Taylor performed at Sydney's Sound Relief concert - reportedly making the biggest contribution of any artist playing at Sound Relief to the Australian Red Cross. Charities and foundations that Taylor Swift has supported: - Children in Need - Clothes Off Our Back - DonateMyDress.org - Family Health International - Feeding America - Grammy Foundation - Habitat For Humanity - Hands On Nashville - Heroes in Heels - MusiCares - Music for Relief - PROJECT ZAMBI - Red Cross - Shoe Revolt - Shriners Hospitals for Children - UNICEF - Victory Junction Gang - Wish Upon A Hero Foundation TAYLOR SWIFT's first ever concert 'SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR – LIVE' CD & DVD set will be released in New Zealand on November 28th!
