 Whilst en-route from watching Ladyhawke's St. Jerome's Laneway Festival set, to hunting out the rest of Coup De Main to find out how our Foals interview had gone - I may have resorted to a combination of bribes and blackmail so that I could enjoy the entirety of certain 7PM set uninterrupted - it so happened that I stumbled upon three-quarters of Atlanta-based band, DEERHUNTER. BRADFORD COX, MOSES ARCHULETA, and LOCKETT PUNDT (Josh Fauver was busy, being busy - I did not chicken out because he was scowling), were nice enough to waylay their journey in search of greatly anticipated hotel-room sleep, to pose for some instant photography. Somewhere in between the time that Cox decided it would be awesome to pose for a photo with his sweater half-wrapped around his head and the time that he took to inspect my Fuji Instax 210 camera (which he was greatly enamoured with), I realized that I have the best friendship crush EVER.
