 During the few songs I witnessed of ANDREW WK, I learned three things: 1) His wife Cherie Lily, is more of a babe than I imagined. 2) Andrew WK really likes to head-bang and his fans are crazy and dedicated - after all, they missed the almighty Deftones to witness the self-proclaimed King of partying in his first performance in New Zealand. 3) Opening with the appropriate ‘It’s Time To Party’, the energy was frantic, and the well timed head-banging from Andrew and his wife/partner-in-leotard Cherie Lily was perfect. With circle pits and fist pumping a-plenty, the high energy party reached all new heights when he ended his set with ‘Party Hard’ - the song I partied to throughout my high school days.
