![]() DIE ANTWOORD. Where do I even begin?! Walking into the Boiler Room midway through the South African hip-hop/rave-duo's set, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to laugh, hide, or dance. My personal highlight from his set was when Ninja (the frontman who I wouldn’t want to cross in a dark alleyway), told a DJ who was preparing for their intermission set below the stage to go away as they weren’t finished yet. Lesson learned - never cross a ninja. ![]() ‘Enter The Ninja’ and ‘Evil Boy’ were the obvious favourite tracks from the band, who gave one of the most energetic and surprising performances of the day which is being named by many as their favourite of the Big Day Out 2011. How can you resist a South African stripping down to his Pink Floyd boxers, leaving little to the imagination while his female accomplish flashes various parts of her body while prancing around in a skin-tight gold two-piece? You can’t. Click HERE for more live photos of Die Antwoord. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
