 Eight albums and eighteen years of experience are enough to warrant BLONDE REDHEAD legendary status, which their tight set and natural chemistry as a band exemplified. Dedicating their set to Ariel Pink, their set couldn’t have been much different. The haunting vocals of Kazu Makino’s vocals were hard to ignore, soaring above the intricate instrumentals provided by her band-mates. Drummer Simon Pace hit hard and was amazing to watch - and while their stage show was little more than the occasional flashing light and the member's movements, their music spoke for itself and received appreciative applause.
