![]() As a last-minute surprise for their under-eighteen fans who were unable to attend the R-18 concert, JIMMY EAT WORLD opened up their soundcheck for a six-song performance for twenty or so lucky fans who were picked to attend. It truly was a once in a life time experience for those there, with an intimate showcase during which the band were incredibly open with what songs they would play, asking for requests and obliging when they could. Despite it being referred as a soundcheck party, there was nothing spared in terms of sound-quality or energy from the band. Playing ‘My Best Theory’, ‘Pain’, ‘Let It Happen’, ‘Work’, ‘The Middle’, and ending with ‘Action Needs An Audience’, it was refreshing to see a band of their stature reach out to their younger fans and make up for their inability to attend the show as best they could. You can rest assured that the band you’ve spent years loving are as down to earth and nice as you’d imagine - this was proof.
