 MELBOURNE REVIEW: Opening an eleven-hour festival when doors only opened fifteen minutes before taking the stage, can’t be an easy task... WE ARE THE OCEAN however, seemed to take it in their stride and the band’s energy and attempts at livening the crowd up never waivered during their short thirty-minute set. With vocalist/screamer DAN BROWN spending much of his time in amongst the audience trying to stir some energy, the band expertly played songs such as 'Confessions' and 'Overtime Is A Crime', winning over new fans - myself included - with their Alexisonfire-esque stylings and undying enthusiasm. ♥ Coup De Main hereby awards We Are The Ocean with a Counter Revolution...
