![]() MELBOURNE REVIEW / SYDNEY PHOTOS: Being a huge Taking Back Sunday fan, I had high hopes and curious expectations for ex-TBS member FRED MASCHERINO’s latest musical endeavour - TERRIBLE THINGS - and unfortunately, these expectations weren’t entirely met. The three-piece blasted their way through tracks such as ‘Terrible Things’, ‘Revolution’ and a cover of The Color Fred’s track ‘Hate To See You Go’ - and while I can’t fault any of their individual musical abilities, the songs felt somewhat lacklustre... like something was missing. Perhaps it was the faltering sound quality which plagued the left stage throughout the day which left their sound feeling a little lacking, but I couldn’t help but shake the feeling that perhaps an addition of a second guitarist may have helped create a fuller sound and more energetic performance from the trio. ♥ Coup De Main hereby awards Terrible Things with a Counter Revolution... "Something Was Missing" award. Check out more Terrible Things live photos below... or click HERE to view the full album. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
